Citrus and Yellow Wedding at Grand Gimeno

Michele and Will got ready inside the Powder Room and Parlor, then met outside for their first look with bridesmaids and groomsmen watching from each wing of Grand Gimeno. With a verbal cue from the wedding planner, Will turned around to see his beautiful bride standing before him. An emotional first look was shared between the couple and sweet compliments were exchanged, then the two wandered around the venue posing for pictures with their wedding party. Smiles were contagious and memories were shared before the group lined up for ceremony.

Guests arrived and entered the Foyer where they signed the bride and groom’s guest book before taking a seat. Live music filled the reception space and yellow flowers decorated a wooden arbor and the aisle. Once everyone was in attendance, the wedding party made their entrances ending with Michele. In front of all their closest friends and family, the bride and groom recited vows, exchanged rings, and sealed the ceremony with a kiss.

Filet and Wild Mushroom Wellingtons, Shrimp Ceviche, and Fig, Goat Cheese, and Mascarpone Tarts were tray passed around the courtyard while the bar served up the newlywed’s signature cocktails, an Aperol Spritz and Whiskey Sour. While everyone mixed and mingled, Will and Michele made their rounds thanking guests for coming and celebrating their marriage. At the end of cocktail hour, friends and family checked the seating chart and headed outside for reception.

Tables were topped with yellow centerpieces, citrus details, and table numbers that helped guests find their assigned seats. Michele and Will made their grand entrance to a cheering crowd, shared their first dance, and took a seat at their head table. Santorini Chicken, Roasted Atlantic Salmon Fillet, Tortellini with Creamy Pesto, Almond Rice Pilaf, Grilled Marinated Vegetables, and Tangerine and Pecan Salad was served. The menu was selected by the bride and groom with help from our event specialist, Patti. While guests enjoyed dinner, toasts were shared. After the last speech, the newlyweds cut into their 2-tiered lemon wedding cake with lemon creme filling and invited their guests to indulge in a slice for dessert. The evening ended back inside where everyone danced the night away with Will and Michele.
